Website: Welcome to our new department and interactive map website.
We are still pretty new at this, so expect some changes and upgrades to occur over the next few months.
Addresses: The GIS department is currently finishing a countywide addressing project.
We are in the process of verifying and updating all of the addresses within the various county databases. Working with
the cities who create addresses, our goal is to keep your address up-to-date and accurate across all county departments.

Condominiums: The recent boom in residential growth in downtown Kansas City has led to
a huge increase in the number of condos that need to be mapped. Condos present a unique mapping challenge as the property
is vertical, instead of horizontal. To handle the unique nature of these parcels, Jackson County has decided to map them
vertically in 3D.
